“White House Down” Is An American Action Film

White house down is an American action film directed by Ronald Emmerich, this film is about an assault by a paramilitary group on the white house. The screenplay of the film is by James Vanderbilt. White house down was released on 28 June 2013 although it was scheduled to be released in U.S on 2 November 2013; and stars Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx.

The plot of the film is about: The president of the united states James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx) is receiving a debate over the proposed peace treaty between the allied nations about removing the military forces of the middle east. John Cale (Channing Tatum) is a Capitol Police officer in US who is assigned to The Speaker of the House Eli Raphelson (Richard Jenkins) after saving his son’s life during a tour in Afghanistan by Cale. Cale is divorced and want to develop his relationship with his daughter Emily (Joey King), he wanted to impress her by getting a job in the Secret Service which his task is to protect the president. His wishes were dashed when the interview was by Carol Finnerty (Maggie Gyllenhaal) who believes that Cale is unqualified; Cale takes his daughter in a tour in the White House to avoid admitting the truth for her. There are more incidents and more characters that will take place in the plot and as a result of these events, the leaders of China, Iran, Russia and France will agree to Sawyer’s peace treaty to be allowed to bring the peace which he wanted.
