1 The Maldives:

The Maldives Island is one of the most famous and beautiful islands in the whole world. It is located in the Indian Ocean and its economy mainly depends on tourism and fishing. Though it is really a small island, it is now one of the most popular islands among tourists. Accordingly, the number of resorts there have increased from 2 in the year 1972 to 82 in 2007. Also the number of tourists in 2007 has increased to reach over 8,300,000.  It is worth mentioning, that the Maldives has the most beautiful beaches ever.

2 Bora Bora:

Bora Bora is a 30 km2 island that is located in the pacific ocean. Like The Maldives, Bora Bora is one of the most famous islands and the best destination for those who are looking for peace and luxury at the same time. If you ever gone to Bora Bora, you will experience a very different situation as there is no public transportation. That is why, there are few ways to wander there such as: renting a car or a bicycle, the small two-seater buggies or a motorboat to explore the lagoon.

3 Seychelles

Seychelles is a small country on the Indian Ocean. It lies over 1.500 Kilometer and it is near Madagascar. In the year 1971, Seychelles International Airport  was opened. Accordingly, the industry of tourism kept on growing and growing until it becomes one of the country’s national incomes. In recent years the government has encouraged foreign investment to upgrade hotels and other services. And this led to the increase of the number of tourists as well. Moreover, Seychelles is one of the most photographed beaches in the world because of how pretty and unique it is.

4 Fraser Island:

Fraser Island is a 200 kilometer island that is located in Australia. In addition, it was inscribed as a World Heritage site in 1992. This island is considered to be the largest sand island in the world. Also, it is Queensland’s largest island, Australia’s sixth largest island and the largest island on the East Coast of Australia. The numbers of tourists that visit Fraser Island each year is believed to be from 350,000 to 500,000. Camping is one of the most popular activities there, and the main camping areas are: Dundubara Campground, Waddy Point campground and Central Station Tent Sites.

5 Kaunaʻoa Bay:

Kaunaʻoa Bay is a small bay in Hawaii and one of the few white sand beaches of the Kohala Coast. The plans of building a resort there started back in January 1961 and after years of hard work the hotel was finally opened in 1965. In the year 2000, this beach was named as “America’s best beach.” Unfortunately, the bay was only a few miles from the 2006 Hawaii earthquake which made major destruction to the hotel. However, in early 2009, the hotel was renewed and reopened.
