Egyptian Pyramids Architecture

A pyramid is the structure in the shape of a triangle in its outer surfaces and single point in the top in the geometric sense. The pyramid has three outer triangular surfaces which give the design of a triangle. The Egyptian pyramids are ancient pyramid-shaped located in Egypt; these pyramids were built by the Pharaohs as tombs for them after death in the old and middle kingdom periods.
The most famous pyramids are the three pyramids at Giza in Cairo. The largest pyramid is called Khufu which is one of the seven world wonders, the second pyramid is called Khafre and the third is called Menkaure. The ancient Egyptians built these pyramids as a resurrection machine, but we all consider the pyramids as burial monuments. All the Egyptian pyramids were built on the western bank of the Nile, which is the site of setting sun in the realm of the dead in the Egyptian mythology.
Tourists from all over the world come to Egypt to visit the three pyramids and great Sphinx and to see the great pieces of architecture which made pyramids one of the seven wonders of the world. Today, pyramids are the only wonders which still in existence.
