One of the most interesting and attractive inventions in modern technology is an “Oxygenated Notebook”. You will not believe that this notebook is generated by being put into water.

The Oxygenated Notebook is also called “Plantbook”. It is designed by Seunggi Baek and Hyerim Kim to look like a piece of nature. It is green in its color and consists of two layers or papers one for the screen and the other for the keyboard.The two papers are attached to a cylindrical tube. The notebook can be easily folded to be finally very small in size and easy to be carried to any place.

You become crazy when water falls on or even goes near your laptop and feel as if a catastrophe had occurred. What is really fantastic about our notebook today is that you will put it yourself into water.The plantbook derives the needed energy from water and this idea is taken from bamboo plant that absorbs the needed nutrients from water in which it is immersed. After folding the plantbook, it is submerged into water and thus it begins to charge. The water is absorbed through a water inlet and begins to be electrolysed by solar power that is stored in a solar heat plate which lies at the top of the cylindrical tube. After electrolysing water, hydrogen is extracted to charge the battery and oxygen is dismissed to air.

At the top, you will find a strap that looks like leaves of plants. This strap is made of silicon and works as indicator for the amount of power in battery when it is charged. Its color turns into the green color when there is power in battery and when it is fully colored in green, it means that it is completely charged. The strap can also be used for holding the the plantbook while it is folded.
